Kitten’s Chinese Pork Meatballs

These make a great appetizer served with sweet and sour sauce or served for main meal, do not omit or add in any ingredients it will alter the flavor, no breadcrumbs,  eggs or extra salt needed, there is a 6 hour chilling time needed.

Yield 30

Ingredients:

1 pound ground pork

2 small green onions, finely chopped

3/4 teaspoon ginger powder

2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce

2 teaspoons low-sodium soy sauce

2 teaspoons rice vinegar

1/2 teaspoon sesame oil

3-4 large garlic cloves, minced

1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper

1-1/2 teaspoons cornstarch

pinch cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions:

In a bowl using clean hands mix all ingredients together until well combined.

Cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or up to 24 hours.

Shape into about 1 or 1-1/2 inch balls.

Place onto a greased baking sheet.

Bake in a preheated 350 degree F oven for 22-25 minutes.
