Delicious Easy Ice Cream Sandwich Cake
Taken from my “Favorites” folder!… plan ahead there is a few hours chilling time for this
Servings 16
Ingredients:
16-20 ice cream sandwiches, do not thaw (or use as many as needed for two layers)
1 (16-ounce) container Cool Whip Frozen Topping, thawed
1 (12-ounce) jar chocolate fudge topping, room temperature
grated chocolate or crushed Oreo sandwich cookies
Instructions:
Place 8-10 frozen ice cream sandwiches side by side in a 13 x 9-inch pan (you may need to slice a few to fit evenly in the pan and use as many as needed to cover the pan).
Spread half of the fudge topping evenly over the sandwich bars, then spread half of the thawed Cool Whip topping over the sauce.
Repeat with remaining ice cream sandwiches, chocolate topping, then Cool Whip on top.
Sprinkle grated chocolate or chrushed Oreo cookines on the top.
Cover and freeze until completely firm (about 3 hours or more).
Store any leftoveres covered and frozen…that is if you have any left
