You may want to double the amounts to serve to a large group of people these will go fast, you can omit the cayenne pepper I most always add it in, plan ahead the wings need to marinate for 24-48 hours, the longer the better!

Yield 3 pounds

Ingredients:

  • 3 lbs chicken wings
  • 3/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3/4 brown sugar
  • pinch cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup vegetable or canola oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions:——————————————

IMPORTANT; if using previously frozen thawed wings hand squeeze out all excess moisture from the wings then pat dry using paper towels
  1. In a large bowl whisk soy sauce with brown sugar, cayenne pepper, oil, ginger powder and garlic powder until well combined.
  2. Add in the wings; using clean hands toss to coat completely.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for 1-2 days (the longer you marinate the wings the better!)
  4. Generously grease 15 x 10-inch baking sheet (I use the non-stick foil).
  5. Bake in a preheated at 350 degree F oven for 45 minutes.
