Nutritional facts for one 1-cup serving: Calories 285/ fat 5 grams (saturated 3 grams) Cholesterol 13 mg/ Sodium 88 mg/ Carbohydrate 57grams

To reduce the fat even more I’m sure that fat-free evaporated milk would work well in place of the 2% milk

Yield 4 cups

INGREDIENTS:

3/4 cup sugar

1/2 cup baking cocoa

2-3/4 cups 2% milk, divided

1/4 cup reduced-fat whipped topping

4 teaspoons chocolate syrup

INSTRUCTIONS:——————————

In a large saucepan combine the sugar with cocoa; gradually add in milk (reserving 2 tablespoons of milk for blending) cook stirring until heated through and the sugar is dissolved.

Remove from heat and let cool.

Transfer to an 8-in. square dish.

Freeze for 2 hours or until edges begin to firm.

Remove from freezer, stir and return to freezer.

Freeze 4 hours longer or until firm.

Just before serving transfer to a food processor; cover and process with remaining 2 tablespoons milk until smooth.

Garnish with whipped topping and chocolate syrup.
