For better flavor and faster cooking time I recommend seasoning  the breasts lightly with seasoned salt and black pepper then brown in oil for about 3 minutes per side before adding to the crockpot, you will need a 5-quart crockpot for this…

If you omit the browning in oil this is about 120 Calories with 2 grams of fat

Servings 8

INGREDIENTS:

8 boneless skinless chicken breasts

2 (18 ounce) bottles barbecue sauce

1 (20 ounce) can pineapple chunks, undrained

1 medium green bell pepper, seeded and chopped

1 medium onion, chopped

2 to 3 garlic cloves, minced

cooked rice

INSTRUCTIONS:———————————

Place 4 chicken breasts in a  slow cooker/crockpot.

Combine the barbecue sauce, pineapple, green pepper, onion and garlic; pour half over the chicken.

Top with remaining chicken and sauce.

Cover and cook on low setting for 8-9 hours or until chicken is tender (you may thicken sauce after cooking if desired).

Serve the chicken and sauce with rice.
