Plan ahead this dressing has a 24 hour refrigeration time to blend and intensify flavors, this also makes a wonderful chicken marinade!

Yield 2-1/2 cups (approx)

INGREDIENTS:

3/4 cup oil (can use olive oil or vegetable or Canola oil)

1 cup mayonnaise (such as Hellman’s mayonnaise, do not use salad dressing)

3/4 cup buttermilk (if you don’t like the flavor of buttermilk then milk will work well also)

1 garlic clove, minced (garlic lovers use a extra large clove)

3 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan OR Romano cheese

2 tablespoons dried basil (rubbed between fingers to release the flavors)

1/4 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt OR white salt

fresh ground black pepper, to taste

Tabasco sauce, optional and to taste

INSTRUCTIONS:————————————

In a food processor process all ingredients together until well blended.

Transfer to a glass jar.

Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours before using.
